AV University officially opened November 15, 2017. The one-stop-shop for training from Chief, Da-Lite, Vaddio and Projecta provides product knowledge and industry credit. Courses for Middle Atlantic are in the works for this spring.
Since opening, more than 1,500 people have registered and earned more than 2,500 course completion certificates.
"We're working hard behind the scenes to expand our course offerings and offer more opportunities to help our students stay on top of the industry and make them even better AV Professionals," said Jerilyn Veldof, Learning Experience Designer.
The Chief ConnexSys Video Wall System install course has seen 659 enrollees, the highest of any class. Vaddio’s most popular class is the RoboTRAK certification. Da-Lite sees the most traffic on the Two-Piece Projections Basics class.
Who’s taking courses? Some companies with the most employees in AVU are Whitlock, AVI-SPL and Diversified. The University of Minnesota has the most enrollment from education.
People from all over the world are taking classes. Canada, Mexico, India and the UK are on the top of the list. Some countries, like Taiwan, Serbia and Trinidad, have one enrollee.
